Robot Brawl: Bolt & Blade — Privacy Policy

Robot Brawl: Bolt & Blade ("the game") is developed and operated by its owner ("we"). This policy describes what the game collects and why. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

What we collect

Account data. Creating an account requires an email address, a display name, and a password. The password is stored only as a salted hash — we cannot read it. The email is used to sign you in and to respond when you contact support (including password resets); the display name is shown to other players on ladder leaderboards and match records.

Gameplay data. When you enlist a robot in the online arena, its design (parts, layout, program) is uploaded to our servers so ranked matches can be fought and refereed server-side. Match results, replays, ratings, seasons, and your scrap wallet ledger are stored with your account. Robot programs are never shown to anyone but you — only the match referee reads them.

Local data. Your career progress (robots, league progress, owned parts) is stored on your device. Your wallet balance and part ownership are also kept server-side with your account.

What we do NOT collect

No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics, no tracking across apps or websites, no contacts, no location, no photos. The game contains no ads.

Where it lives

Data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (United States region), encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Daily backups are retained for seven days.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Your display name, robot names, ratings, and match replays are visible to other players — that is what a public ladder is. Nothing else is.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account from inside the game (ARENA → account panel → DELETE ACCOUNT). Deletion redacts your email and display name, retires your robots, and removes them from the ladder. Anonymous match history and ledger entries are retained as the other players' records and as a financial audit trail.

Purchases

If in-app purchases are offered, payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details. Purchase receipts are verified with Apple and recorded against your account's wallet.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
