Robot Brawl: Scrapyard
A whole planet, one rookie robot, and a stick. Drive out, crack open what you find, and answer for the machine you bolt together.

Eighteen seconds, no sound and no edit: driving out from the home pad, cracking the first chest โ forty scrap and a rubber wheel โ and setting off after the robot parked thirty metres away.
Point where you want to go
One stick, no wheel
Push the stick where you want to go and the machine steers itself there; how far you push is how fast. Let go and it brakes. Straight back reverses. The same stick drives the fight.
A planet, not a level
Terrain, towns, trading posts, robot parks, arenas and playgrounds are generated from your own seed โ the same planet every time you come back, and it has no edge.
Loot is hardware
Chests hold scrap and parts. What you find goes on your machine in the garage, anywhere you like, in the material you can afford โ and the physics decides what holds.
The first minute

Fights you drive
Accept a challenge and the world stays where it is: walls rise around the two of you on the ground you were standing on, thirty seconds on the clock, the walls closing in over the last ten. You drive โ the stick to move, FIRE for the weapon. Win and the yard pays you; then carry on exploring from the spot you fought on.
Some of the machines parked out there were built by other players, pulled from the same ladder that runs the original Robot Brawl. Beat one and it counts on the board.

Where it came from
Scrapyard is built on the same physics and the same parts as Robot Brawl: Bolt & Blade โ seams shear, armour buckles, a top-heavy machine goes over โ but it is a different game: you drive, you explore, and there is no programming. If you would rather build a machine and let your own code fight for it, the original is here and it is free too.
